The 31 Best Presidents’ Day Sales on Home Goods and Tech

Holiday weekend sales, including Presidents’ Day, can be lackluster. A discounted price that's already been available for months isn't really a deal. And don't get me started on prices that get marked up right before a sale begins. We sorted through the fluff to find the stuff—truly good Presidents’ Day deals on WIRED-recommended gear. From excellent headphones to budget-friendly bedding, these discounts won’t waste your time.

But wait, there’s more! We've rounded up Presidents’ Day Laptop Deals and Mattress Deals if you're on the hunt for even more discounted goodies.

Updated February 21: We've added eight deals, including the iPad Air, iOttie Velox Magnetic Wireless Charging Car Mount, Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid, and the Acer Chromebook Spin 311.

Special offer for Gear readers: Get a 1-year subscription to WIRED for $5 ($25 off). This includes unlimited access to and our print magazine (if you'd like). Subscriptions help fund the work we do every day.

Mattress and Home Deals

You should never pay full price for a mattress—they go on sale all the time, particularly around holidays. Our two favorite picks are highlighted below, but we have an entire story dedicated to the best Presidents’ Day mattress deals. And be sure to check out our Best Mattresses guide for additional details and recommendations.

★ Top Pick: Helix Midnight Luxe Hybrid Mattress for $1,699 ($250 off)—Enter PDWEEKEND250 at Checkout

This mattress is pricey, but we've tested dozens of others, and this remains our top recommendation. The hybrid composition balances a firmer base with a softer top, meaning it works well for many sleeping positions. The deal includes two free pillows. For a mattress below queen size, use codes PDWEEKEND200 or PDWEEKEND150 to see the discount.

★ Top Bargain: Allswell Hybrid Mattress for $359 ($90 off)—Enter PREZ20 at Checkout

For a good hybrid mattress without a comma in the price, Allswell is a safe bet. We prefer the more expensive Luxe and Supreme models, which are also discounted. But if you're interested in the absolute cheapest mattress you can get without dooming yourself to a life of back pain and bad sleep, this is the one. It's supportive, and the price is hard to beat.

Aura Carver Luxe Digital Frame for $169 ($10 off)

This deal pops up pretty frequently. Digital frames are wonderful gifts, but they're also handy for staying connected over long distances. Other frames are discounted too, like the Mason ($20 off) and Buddy ($10 off). Check out our Best Digital Frames guide for more details and comparisons.

Layla 20-Pound Weighted Blanket for $110 ($110 off)

We really like this weighted blanket, and the deal price makes it even more enticing. It has a different texture on each side to help you feel as comfy as possible, and it's big enough for two people to cuddle under. Every weight capacity is on sale right now. (For us, the heavier the better.)

Snuggle-Pedic Memory Foam Pillow for $42 ($18 off)—Click the Coupon Button

I, Louryn, suck at sleeping, and this pillow is the only one I've found that works for me. I swear by it, and I've converted many friends and coworkers into Snuggle-Pedic enthusiasts. The customizable shredded foam innards allow me to achieve Goldilocks-level bliss without too much bulk or texture. No matter how much I toss, turn, or flip my pillow, and no matter what weirdly acute angle my neck ends up in while side sleeping, I don't wake up with stiffness or pain. My back-sleeping partner and stomach-sleeping friend have made it work for them too.

Shark HyperAir Hair Blow Dryer for $200 ($30 off)

While the Shark HyperAir has been on sale since early February and dips to this price often, this blow dryer is on our list of Favorite Hair Dryers and Diffusers, and this is still a great deal. Complete with three heat settings and three speeds, it comes with a standard blow dryer attachment and a brush tool that turns it into a blow-dry brush. It's great for anyone who finds it difficult to blow out their hair using a separate hairbrush and blow dryer simultaneously.

Roborock S4 Max Robot Vacuum for $310 ($70 off)—Click the Coupon Button

This is one of the best robot vacuums money can buy. Thanks to the on-page coupon, it's more affordable than usual. It has excellent battery life and some features that are hard to find in budget-friendly robot vacs, like virtual mapping and problem spot detection.

Yeedi K650 Robot Vacuum for $113 ($64 off)—Click the Coupon Button

The Yeedi K650 is the cheapest robot vacuum we recommend, and this deal brings it down to one of the lowest prices we've ever seen. This vacuum is bare-bones, with basic navigation and shorter battery life than pricier models; it's still a solid option if you want some help with the floors. Set it to clean the house every day and be at peace.

Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid Robot Vacuum for $550 ($100 off)—Click the Coupon Button

Eufy's RoboVac X8 is in our roundup of the Best Robot Vacuums as the best option for pet owners. Equipped with twin turbines that generate a ton of suction energy, it's powerful enough to deep-clean all the pet hair, debris, and dirt that may accumulate in your home—it also doubles as a mop. The mapping feature was a bit wonky, so we recommend using it for enclosed areas around the house.

Ecovacs Deebot T8 AIVI Robot Vacuum for $527 ($223 off)—Enter GOODDAY3 at Checkout

If you're looking for a feature-packed robot vacuum, the Deebot T8 has you covered. Not only does it double as a mop, but it also packs a Wi-Fi-enabled camera (make sure that's a feature you're comfortable with), a microphone, and the ability to customize your home map with different floors, virtual boundaries, and assigned areas. With a long run time, you won't have to worry about it constantly dying mid-clean.

iDPRT SP410 Thermal Shipping Label Printer for $110 ($30 off)—Click the Coupon Button

This thermal shipping label printer needs no ink but requires a driver download to operate with your PC. Set up is honestly a bit tricky and can be confusing—it also requires an Ethernet connection, as it doesn't work over Wi-Fi—but once you're ready, you'll be able to print out those shipping labels in fast fashion. It comes with a stack of labels.

Branch Standing Desk for $629 ($70 off)—Enter PRESIDENTSDAY at Checkout

This elegant standing desk doesn't go on sale very often, and it's one of our favorites. The motor function is very smooth (there are several presets), while the desktop feels luxurious and looks drop-dead gorgeous, especially in the walnut or woodgrain styles. Grab the Executive size if you want an even larger desk (also discounted with the promo code).

Staples FlexFit Hyken Mesh Task Office Chair for $180 ($20 off)

The FlexFit Hyken Mesh Task Chair is already our favorite budget office chair, but it's now available for an even more affordable price. It has a sturdy build, a breathable mesh fabric on both the seat and back, and it reclines. For extra comfort, you can also opt for lumbar support and a headrest. We've seen it dip to $170 during big sale events, but this is still a great price.

Tech DealsApple Watch Series 7 Smartwatch for $349 ($50 off)

This deal has been around for a few weeks, but it's a pretty good price on the best Apple Watch. The Series 7 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) has plenty of bells and whistles, including fitness tracking, Siri voice assistance, fall detection, and apps for everything from Spotify to Todoist. Our Best Smartwatches guide has additional picks for Android users.

Fitbit Charge 5 Fitness Tracker for $120 ($60 off)

The Charge 5 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) has been discounted regularly for a few months, but this price is still worth highlighting. This is the absolute best fitness tracker for most people. The display is wonderfully bright, and it packs all of the fitness metrics one could want in a tracker. Some of the features are locked behind an optional Fitbit Premium subscription that costs $10 per month—but the gadget is still good without them.

Facebook Portal 10-inch Smart Display for $83 ($16 off)

Facebook (excuse me: Meta) may not be our favorite company, but darned if the Portal isn't a neat little gadget. It's part smart display, part video chatting device, with some useful tools for visiting with long-distance loved ones or looking really great on work Zoom calls. (Every time a WIRED Gear staffer joins a meeting from a Portal device, at least a few of us ooh and aah at the intelligent camera zoom and panning features.) The Portal goes on sale quite frequently.

Apple iPad Air Tablet for $500 ($100 off)

If you don't want to drop a lot of money on the iPad Pro, Apple's fourth-generation iPad Air (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is a good alternative. With a 10.9-inch display, a powerful A14 Bionic chip, and support for the second-gen Apple Pencil, it'll easily power you through the work or school day. Plus, it comes in a variety of fun colors like green, sky blue, and rose gold. Looking for a more compact version? The sixth-generation iPad Mini is also on sale for $490 ($10 off).

Lenovo Smart Clock Essential With Alexa for $50 ($20 off)

We've tried the previous version of Lenovo's Smart Clock Essential and liked it. This new version has Alexa built-in, so you can ask Amazon's voice assistant anything you'd ask a traditional Echo speaker—even ask it to play music or sleep sounds before bed. The display shows the time, weather, and humidity.

Apple AirPods Max Wireless Headphones for $449 ($30 off)

The AirPods Max (8/10, WIRED Recommends) have bounced between $450 and $480 for a few months. This remains the cheapest we've seen them outside of events like Black Friday. They are ridiculously spendy, even on sale, but they're also some of the absolute best noise-canceling headphones we've tried. Other AirPods models are also on sale, though the deals aren't as historically significant.

Save Up to $20 off on Official Apple iPhone 13 Cases

If you own an iPhone 13, you can’t go wrong with Apple’s official case. It has precise cutouts for the speaker, ports, and buttons, along with a fairly slim profile. It also keeps the camera module flush, so your phone won't rock back and forth on a flat surface. There is a silicone or leather version (the latter has a better discount), but it depends on the color you pick.

MyCharge Mag-Lock Power Bank for $26 ($24 off)—Click the Coupon Button

The MyCharge Power Bank is one of our favorites for a few reasons. Thanks to the built-in MagSafe, you can attach it to your iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 magnetically and it'll recharge wirelessly—there's no awkward cable to fumble with. It emits chimes to let you know that charging has started or stopped (in case the battery detaches from your phone). And you’ll have a choice between three battery sizes. The 3,000-mAh base model can recharge your iPhone once.

iOttie Velox Magnetic Wireless Charging Car Mount for $40 ($10 off)

Fewer things are more annoying than when your iPhone slides off the car dock while driving over bumpy roads. With iOttie's Velox MagSafe car mount (for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13), you don't have to worry about that—it comes with extra magnets to keep your phone super secure. It also supports wireless charging (with a car charger included) and can be installed right onto your car's air vent.

OnePlus 9 Pro Unlocked Smartphone for $800 ($100 off)

This matches the historic best deal we saw during Black Friday. We like the OnePlus 9 Pro (8/10, WIRED Recommends) a lot—it's an honorable mention in our Best Android Phones guide—but it's too expensive. This deal mitigates the issue. The cameras could be better, but the battery life and display are good, and charging is super-fast. The OnePlus 9 is also on sale for $600 (again at a match of its Black Friday price).

Acer Chromebook Spin 311 Convertible Laptop for $215 ($55 off)

We have yet to test the Chromebook Spin 311, but if you're looking for an affordable two-in-one for basic tasks, then it's an ideal choice. With an Intel Celeron processor and 4 gigabytes of RAM, it's perfectly fine for basic, low-power tasks like typing away in Google Docs, web browsing, and sending emails.

Samsung T7 2-Terabyte Portable SSD for $230 ($40 off)

Need a speedy and spacious solid-state drive? This portable external storage lets you add 2 terabytes of space for your PC—and it's among the fastest we've tested. It's lightweight and durable. The smaller capacities are also on sale, but the discount isn't as good.

Segway Ninebot F30 Electric Scooter for $580 ($70 off)

This Segway electric kick scooter frequently dips to this price, but it's an excellent deal. This is our top pick in our Best E-Scooters guide because it's built well, it has strong brakes and decent range, and it automatically slows down on downhills so you never exceed the 15-mph top speed.

Moment MTW Camera Backpack for $120 ($50 off)

The MTW is one of the best photography backpacks you can get. It has a roomy main compartment and an accessible front pouch for smaller items like extra batteries or charging cables. It isn't as streamlined as some other bags, but the durability may make it a worthy trade-off for those who frequently shoot outdoors or on the go. The optional camera insert is slightly discounted as well. It helps with organizing gear-heavy shoots. Snag a discounted MTW Tech Organizer for $50 ($10 off) to keep all your tchotchkes neat and tidy.

GoPro Hero 10 Action Camera for $450 ($50 off)

The GoPro Hero 10 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is the best action camera for most people. This discount matches what we saw from most retailers during Black Friday 2021, though GoPro offered it for $350 that weekend. It has dropped down to $430 a few times at Amazon, but this deal is still decent if you don't want to wait.

TP-Link Deco X20 Wi-Fi 6 Mesh System for $220 ($30 off)

This Wi-Fi 6 mesh system is the Best Value pick in our Best Mesh Routers guide. It's ideal for an average family home with decent but dependable coverage and performance, and it's very easy to set up all three.

Tula USB-C Microphone for $206 ($23 off)

Hook this tiny and stylish microphone to the USB-C port on your laptop or phone to make sure you sound really great wherever you are. You can also use it as a stand-alone recorder (you get 8 gigabytes of internal storage)—great for interviewing folks or for taking audio notes. Read more about it in our Work-From-Home Gear guide.

Logitech G Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse for $78 ($23 off)

This is the best price we've tracked for one of the best gaming mice. Typically it hovers around $110 or slightly less. It lasts around 48 hours on a single charge, so it's a good idea to grab the wireless charger bundle (which doubles as a mouse pad). The bundle is also on sale.
