The Best CES Devices You Can Buy Right Now

At its core, CES is a festival of desire, whether that’s for an affordable 5G phone, an inkjet beauty wand, or a personal pod transporter that means you’ll never have to walk again. It can be anticlimactic if you're at home. You realize that none of the dazzling gear you saw will be available for at least six to 12 months—and some of it will never come out at all. But we got you. We've highlighted a few of our favorite things at CES that you can buy right now.

If you buy something using the links in our stories, we may earn a small affiliate commission. Here’s how this works. You can also support our reporting and reviewing by purchasing a 1-year print + digital WIRED subscription for $5 (Discounted).

Update Jan. 13: We fixed a link to the Elite Active 75T. Our link was going to the standard Elite 75T, which are also very nice earbuds that recently came out.

UE Wonderboom Bluetooth Speaker for $40 ($60 off): The Wonderboom is one of the best Bluetooth speakers you can get. The battery life rocks, and you can literally throw it in a pool or let it hit the ground and it's probably going to be just fine. The Wonderboom 2 came out in 2019, but the older model is nearly identical and costs $60 less this week.

Anker PowerWave Wireless Charger for $13 ($6 off): This is the charger stand that lets you watch movies while you're waiting for your phone to juice up.

Unravel Two (Switch) for $5 ($15 off): The first Unravel was a delightful (and sometimes tragic) side scroller with unique mechanics, since you are always connected to a piece of yarn. The sequel lets two players yarn it up together!

Dell 27-Inch LED FreeSync Monitor for $110 ($80 off): This is a solid monitor by Dell that should work well for gaming or productivity.

HP 25-Inch 1080p 144Hz FreeSync Monitor for $155 ($75 off): This HP monitor is a little bit smaller, but is also pretty well-balanced and should work pretty well for most tasks, including gaming, if that's your jam.

Lego Overwatch D.Va and Reinhardt figures for $26 ($14 off): Overwatch continues to stand the test of time. This set lets you build two of the best characters.

WD_Black 5TB External Game Drive for $110 ($40 off): If you're out of space on your console or PC but can't stop buying games, this 5-terabyte drive should be all the space you need for a very long time.
