It’s Black Friday 2023. Check out the WIRED team’s picks for the best Cyber Monday deals in the UK here.

Samsung Galaxy S21+ for £790 (£194 off)

One step down from the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the S21+ has a flat screen instead of one that curves at the sides, a less pixel-rich screen and less overpowered cameras. But it is still a world-class phone in every respect.

Cyber Monday has arrived and discounts on a wide range of tech and gadgetry are now live. The WIRED team has sought out the top true savings on quality products. Here’s the best Cyber Monday deals.

Huawei MateBook 14 for £599 (£31 off)

Huawei continues to produce some of the best value laptops on the market. MateBooks regularly offer up a solid imitation of MacBook looks with a ton under the hood. This MateBook 14 will absolutely dominate productivity tasks, with a Ryzen 5 4600H and 8GB RAM onboard.

LEGO Star Wars Knights of Ren Transport Ship for £45 (£20 off)

In case you didn’t know, according to Wookiepedia, the Knights of Ren were neither Jedi nor Sith, but a new generation of warriors imbued with the power of the Force. This aside, LEGO’s recreation ‘hovers’ with hidden skis underneath, has two opening cockpits and a minifigure prison compartment – in which you can guard the included Ray minifigure with two tiny Knights of Ren.

Logitech C920S HD Webcam for £76 (£5 off)

Our WIRED Recommends top-pick webcam is available for a slight discount right now. While it’s only £5 off, it’s often difficult to catch this product in stock let alone with a small amount shaved off. This webcam comes with Full HD 30fps recording, HD light correction and a privacy shutter.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra for £949 (£51 off)

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is an Android phone with the most versatile camera array available in a phone right now. It has a great 108MP primary camera, a very good ultra-wide lens and two zooms with 3x and 10x views of the world. This is the best travel photography phone money can buy. And aren’t you looking forward to the days when holidaying isn’t an administrative nightmare? The rest of the S21 Ultra isn’t bad either: super-bright 6.8-inch OLED screen, top-tier build quality and a fast processor.

Apple iPad (32GB) for £310 (£19 off)

The iPad remains one of the best value computing devices you can buy, capable of blazing through mobile apps with little fuss – and for just over £300. There’s strong portability on offer too, with its diminutive size and up to 10 hours of battery life. The Apple Pencil (down to £70) or Smart Keyboard (down to £159) are also on offer, to expand this device’s capabilities further.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 for £649 (£190 off)

While Microsoft hasn’t truly updated its flagship Surface device for some time now, the Surface Pro 7 still stands tall as one of the best hybrid laptop and tablet experiences around. This model doesn’t sport the very latest components but its combination of a 10th Gen Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB RAM should be plenty to tackle the majority of productivity tasks.

Sennheiser CX 400BT for £89 (£80 off)

These no-nonsense true wireless earphones are among the very best you can get for under £100 if you value sound quality. They may not have active noise cancellation but balanced, detailed audio more than makes up for it.

Microsoft Modern Bluetooth Mouse for £17 (£6 off)

You’re not seeing huge saving on this product but, at such a low price, it’s not to be sniffed at. This Microsoft Bluetooth mouse offers no-frills, with a sleek design and reliable performance. The black model looks particularly stylish but you can pick it up in green, blue and red too.

Sennheiser HD 450BT for £82 (£51 off)

Long battery life, good comfort and a crowd-pleasing slightly bass-forward sound make the Sennheiser HD 450BT a good buy if you want stylish street headphones but don’t want to pay £200 or more. This discount brings the pair down at least one price band.

Sony WF-1000XM3 wireless NC earbuds for £144 (£26 off)

Still in one of our favourite pairs of wireless earbuds, these Sony buds may well have only just been succeeded by a new model, but they remain formidable. Good fit, superb active noise-cancelling and fine sound combine with bass that is deep and hard-hitting, but controlled. They went down to £130 for Prime Day.

Sennheiser M3AEBTXL for £271 (£19 off)

The Sennheiser M3AEBTXL should be near the top of your list if you want great-sounding headphones with active noise cancellation. Their top feature is, as with all the best Sennheiser pairs, sound quality. Mid-range texture and detail simple beats that of most of the competition, including the pairs that earned a lot more attention like those from Sony and Bose. Until now we’d have considered £290 a good price.

LG TONE Free FN7 earbuds (with UV cleaning) for £100

True wireless earbuds are undoubtedly a competitive field, yet these LG Bluetooth 5.0 buds deliver balanced, spritely sound in a quality build. They’re even comfortable to wear. Want more? How about UVnano technology that uses UV light to clean the earbuds of bacteria when they’re charging in their little case. At £100, this is the cheapest these headphones have been on Amazon.

Sony RX100 VI for £820 (£80 off)

This ultra-advanced 1in sensor compact is the kind of camera that will get you out shooting more often. It originally cost over £1,000 and has 4K video capture, unlike some of the earlier models in the long-standing, much-loved RX100 series.

Canon EOS RP with 35mm lens for £1,259 (£241 off)

This bundle includes the compact Canon EOS RP full-frame camera and an f/1.8 35mm prime lens worth over £500 on its own.  It’s a high-end bundle at kit lens money.

Kenwood kMix for £219 (£40 off)

The Kenwood kMix is one of the most recognisable stand mixers, although you’ll have to make do with the red/grey version as the other colours cost more at Amazon.

Echo (4th gen) for £70 (£20 off)

So impressed were we with Amazon’s new Echo it went straight to the top of our best Alexa devices edit. Under the successful new bulbous design is a proper smart home hub. The big addition is a ZigBee radio, so you can connect more smart home devices to it without having to buy extra bridges and hubs. The clincher? Surprisingly good sound. To summarise: really smart and a really good speaker.

Arlo Video Doorbell for £120 (£60 off)

This Nest-lookalike has made it into our best video doorbell selection because of its superb value for money. So with even more money off the full RRP this has to be a good buy. Smart alerts, geofencing, night vision and a built-in siren round off a fine, well-designed package.

Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 In-Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones for £75 (£18 off)

These in-ear headphones from Sennheiser come equipped with 4 sets of earbuds to ensure you can get that essential ideal fit. For sound, they come with powerful bass and detailed vocals – alongside Bluetooth 4.1, AAC codec and Qualcomm apt-X to ensure seamless connectivity. The 3 button remote helps to quickly switch between songs, answer calls and more.

Fitbit Versa 2 for £113 (£47 off)

The Fitbit Versa 2 is not the latest Fitbit watch as the Versa 3 and Fitbit Sense, also on sale, are newer. However, it offers the core Fitbit experience and lets you download apps from the Fitbit app store. It’s cute too, as wearables go. GPS is the one missing feature, but the Versa 2 has Connected GPS, which uses a connected phone’s location data to offer more-or-less the same results. £130 is the lowest the Versa 2 has reached at Amazon according to our research, and this was for a brief sale window. Before Prime Day it cost £147-£199 at Amazon, depending on the colour of model.

Huawei Watch GT 2 for £93 (£18 off)

The lower-cost alternative to the Watch GT 2 Pro is just as good in most respects. It’s still a fantastic exercise watch, has a stainless steel body and toughened glass screen cover. One of the best value fitness watches around, particularly post-discount.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go for £549 (£80 off)

Getting a reasonably-priced laptop that also offers quality designed isn’t easy. That’s why the Surface Laptop Go is one of WIRED’s favourite budget laptops. The compact version of Microsoft’s premium ultrabook brings much of the same sleek and high-quality style down to a pleasingly low price. The screen is a little low resolution and 128GB SSD isn’t huge but as a student laptop made for essay-writing and browsing the web, there’s few better.

Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard for £28 (£12 off)

Considering ergonomics is a key part of any desk setup, especially when your working from home. Microsoft’s ergonomic keyboardkeyboardkeyboardkeyboard aims to help with this too. Ergonomic keyboards may look a tad strange but their shape is designed to avoid fatigue and injury. Along with the shape, there are built-in smart shortcuts and function keys for added convenience.

LG OLED77ZX9LA for £6,999 (£5,000 off)

This 77-inch 8K OLED is a 2020 model but the Prime Day discount – still live – is rather huge. It launched at £20,000 and costs £12,000 today at some other retailers. Advanced features like VRR and 4K at 120Hz are here too. It’s not far behind the 2021 version.

Amazon Fire TV Cube for £60 (£50 off)

The cheapest this little smart TV cube has been aside from a brief moment in March. It is more powerful than Amazon’s Fire TV sticks and has built-in microphones for easy voice control. A remote is included too.
